I don’t get it! I just don’t! Most people I know who voted for Obama, and thank God there aren’t too many, are pretty cranky for people whose guy won! WTF? If McCain had won, I would have felt so relieved at first and then ecstatic. Truly I would have. I could have felt safe and secure, knowing that the American voters are not so insane and stupid as to put a guy into office, in a very messy situation, who had ZERO experience to do the job.
Are they afraid? Do they see his “Office of the President Elect” sign and realize that something just isn’t quite right with the man? Were they just stuck on the D next to his name, but didn’t really like him? Did the kool aid run out? Are they afraid that That One is going to screw everything up so much that we will say, “I told you so?” I have no clue what their problem is. Did they expect that all that racism talk would be magically gone the next morning? Man, if they could accomplish that just by putting Obama in office then they sure as hell should be able to shit some cash to fix this economic mess in this country! Ok, sorry. I got a little angry there.
All I know is they won, by hook or by crook (Obama) and they should all be holding hands singing Kumbaya by now. I prefer they sing, “I’d like to teach the world to sing” and hand me a coke because those pepsi cans are really scary with a logo so much like Obama’s. Had Axelrod run the right campaign, a can of pepsi could be the President Elect. That might actually sit better with me. I’m not a big kumbaya fan anyway. It should be all rainbows, sunshine, puppy dogs, and love. A coworker of mine said that now it’s all carebears for all. Whatever happened, so far I haven’t seen any good change, especially that stupid President Elect sign. Who the hell is that sign for anyway? Is it just to make me vomit? Is it just to prove my point that Obama has some screws loose upstairs? Is it to remind Obama that he can stop pandering now? Mission Accomplished Mr. Odrama. WTF is that?
If anyone, anywhere has a clue why the folks who won are so unhappy, cranky and creepy, let me know, Ok? I just don’t get it!
They’re like the kid who had impossible expectations of the fancy new toy he saw so many TV commercials for, and then finally gets that toy on Christmas. There’s no way the reality can fail to be a letdown compared to the glitzy but nebulous fantasy.
To top it off, it’s starting to dawn on them that Obama is not quite what they thought — not a radical who’s going to appoint Michael Moore as Secretary of State and give everyone in the country their own magic unicorn. Instead he’s assembling a cabinet of old, middle-of-the-road establishment figures from the Clinton administration. This is actually good for the country since it means there will at least be some experienced hands on deck — but it’s not what the Obamatards were hoping for. They’re starting to realize the Teleprompter Messiah is just a politician after all. It’s a letdown.
Obama ran an extremely divisive campaign. Think back a year, to when the presidency was a shoo-in for any Dem and people were happy about the plethora of excellent candidates. Obama was the weakest of the field, and it took calculated shit-stirring (the community organizing model: get the troops angry and keep them angry) for him and the party elites to prevail, carving up the Dems along age, sex, race, class, and regional lines. When have we seen such a year, starting out united and ending up at each other’s throats? Positively Rovian.
So his technique was to make his followers angry, and they like being angry. Don’t expect them to drop it anytime soon — that’s who they are. The O machine has already announced that they plan to keep the troops mobilized to act against O’s enemies (those who resist his will). And there will be enemies. He spent nearly a billion dollars to defeat McCain, and still it took crashing the economy to pull it off. That’s a lot of people who weren’t buying what he was selling. He was always a weak candidate.
He’s the messiah for a cult of haters.
lol what kinda shitty article is this???
1. What you wrote sounds a bit angry…no direction whatsoever and a spew of nonsense to vent why YOUR perspective has shown how a “majority” of us Obama supporters are angry. But IF a “majority” of us ARE angry…rest assure it’s not because of the result of the election.
2. If Obama supporters are Angry….then P.U.M.A. supporters must be Al Qaeda terrorist. I mean HALF of your sites are dedicated to Hillary, WHO HAS DROPPED OUTTA THE RACE A LOOOOONNNNNGGGGG time ago leaving the little bit of PUMA members in a refuge of denial hiding away from thsoe that disagree with your failed logic or the simple facts of the world…or as you like to call it the “libruh med-ee-a”
Right now Obama is NOT the president…YET. He has been assumed presidency and has to wait until the electoral votes are confirmed and Bush finishes his term. He is moving as a president because he knows once he’s in he has A LOT of work to do and no time to waste (what a great leader huh?)
But this isn’t about that, well at least not with you guys, it’s about trying to find EVERY AND ANYTHING wrong with Obama, which isn’t healthy if you plan on doing this until 2012. You didn’t vote for him, you don’t like him…tough titty y’know. Why spend four years bashing him? It’s not worth it. Did you spend every last minute, thread, blog, and website bashing Bush??? I think not….. well I HOPE not.
PUMAS it’s time to move on with your lives and let it go…it’s politics. Sure there’ll be times you’ll criticize Obama for decisions he makes but that’s common. I’m just saying don’t make it the realm of your life, especially after the MAJORITY of us have spoken to have him run.
A MAJORITY of us only hope the best, and believe will get the best results but we are also REALISTIC in what needs to be done and what can get done.
So the PUMAS should just buck up and do the same…..life goes on….learn from it.
I think your comment sounds kind of angry, too, Juse Hedd. I have moved on. There really isn’t anything to do right now and I am waiting for the one to show his stuff. All those promises he made. I am hoping he keeps one of them. Time will tell. What my article was about was exactly what your comment proved. Obama supporters got what they want, but are pretty upset about it. Your comment sure shows that.
They do seem to feel a curious need to go to PUMA sites and pick fights. Insecurity, perhaps?
Maybe they’re mad because they’re still getting “send money” emails from David Plouffe. The O team won’t leave them be. They’re on the hook forever.
I can kind of understand. I have always been annoyed by Obama. He lies. I don’t trust him. I was not going to vote for that no matter whose team he claimed to be on. If I had been one to hold my nose and vote for him, I sure would be afraid now.
I still say that if McCain had won, I’d be giddy and nothing an Obama supporter would say in anger would bother me enough to go on blogs and do battle. I can’t stand Obama, but you never found me on a pro Obama blog doing battle against him.
I wonder if these are still paid bloggers? Probably part of his Civilian Army Corps. With Obama, who knows?
1. baddemocrat…lol I’m not angry. when someone challenges your points…it doesn’t make them angry. I’m just letting you know from an Obama supporter’s perspective your statement is fallacious.
2. Making a blog to criticize and condemn everything Obama does is not moving on. Besides Is it really even fair to judge him right now. He’s not the president, he ain’t even sat in the chair yet and already you forgetting we already have an incumbent president that’s been here for the past 8 years.
Your hatred for Obama is so huge you totally forgot Bush exist lol.
3. I’ll go to REpublican websites or ANY anti-Obama website and argue with anyone that disagrees with Obama’s ideas and plans or hates his character blah, blah, blah…why…cause I’m not afraid to debate with those I Disagree with, even if I have to deal with them under and OVERWHELMING force.
Hence the reason when I try to argue with the Hillary supporters….I just get banned from there sites cause I’m an Obot who drinks the Kool-Aid and don’t put my country first and blah, blah, blah…because OBVIOUSLY the people who supported Hillary know politics better than US apparently lol
