There have been recent comments about moving on so I thought it might be good to address this subject. I am moving on from both election ‘08, which I consider the election from hell. Truly, it makes me think election 2000 was not too bad. I am also moving on from a relationship. It was not a bad relationship so it makes moving on a little more interesting.
When is it time to move on and what does it mean? This election, some would say moving on means accepting that Obama is the POTUS elect and be happy about it. Maybe even be thankful that we have a democratic administration. Is it that easy? For me, if we all do that, we are forgetting that Obama is not the type of person that makes a great leaders. He should truly be indicted for his involvement with Tony Rezko and operations board games. That is truly my own opinion. I’d even go so far as to say Michelle Obama may have played a criminal role as well, given that she got a very lucrative job out of certain decisions made by the health and human services board her husband was on, resulting in tripling her income.
Well, we’ll see what wonders the American political scene brings. I am moving on in a way. There is nothing else to do. It doesn’t mean I have to like it or support the new administration!
